About
I’m creative director at Jajo in Wichita, Kansas. I’ve tripped around several other places to get here bringing as much smart stuff as possible. I started in Sunny California, but nobody there really says that, where I borrowed tons of money to get a degree from Art Center College of Design. I quickly got a job with RTKL in Dallas where I designed really big environmental structures for equally big buildings. I left that job after a near-death experience during a blackout in the jungle village of San Miguel, El Salvador. My sheephating friends at SHS in Wichita hired me to be an art director on their aviation team. That was good because I spoke more aviation than I did spanish. After some time, I shipped myself to Kansas City and began working at VML. They exposed me to many new ideas and different ways to do things. Smart things. New things. So, I’ve taken all the great experience I’ve gained over the last 20 years and packaged them up to the advantage of Jajo. Together, with the experience of the others here, we make a pretty impressive team.
